In Control, Not Controlling

Often in life we somehow believe the lie that we know better than God. We would never say that but our actions say that when we try to control our lives instead of trusting God. We can trust God because He is in control but that doesn’t mean He is controlling. The truth is, God gives us the choice. We can trust that He is in control or we can take the reins and try and control our own life our own way. We are often the ones being controlling. Because God made everything, He knows best and so He should be in control but He gives us the choice to trust Him or do things our own way. There is no reason why we should be in control. Often when we try and take control of our lives, things don’t always happen the way we thought they would. God has better plans. So we have to working on being less controlling and more trusting because God is a good God and when we let Him have control, beautiful things happen.
